I’ve recently been accepted into the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) for the Bachelor of Music Classical Voice. I was also accepted the Cert IV for Music Theatre however, had to decline as it was impossible for me to do both the Bachelor and the Cert. This incredible acceptance would not have been possible without the experience of work-shopping with the HotHouse Company. Specifically with Guy Masterson earlier this year with sense memory exercises, allowing me to delve deeper into my imagination and realism approach to acting which has helped me immensely with my performance skills within the arts.

I also attended workshops with Darren Wicks as part of the HotHouse Company which enabled me to gain further knowledge in voice technique and gospel singing. All Saints’ College has been helping me develop my abilities over the last 14 years, specifically to Mrs Jose, my singing teacher, who has enabled me to develop my voice in such a way that I have been able to achieve my goals as well as persue my career in the arts further. Also engaging in the subjects of Music, Dance and Drama has further developed my repertoire in every area of performing and given me the ability to confidently express myself in every aspect of WAAPA. They have all helped my develop my performance skills and confidence to fulfill my dreams as a performer.

I look forward coming back to the HotHouse Company in 2017, see you there!
