Jimi Rankin is a student whom the HotHouse Company and All Saints’ College are extremely proud of.
Graduating from ASC in 2015, Jimi had the unique privilege and honour to be selected into the full-time Acting course at WAAPA in his first attempt as a school leaver, a rare feat.
We caught up with our HotHouse Company family member Jimi to ask him how his first year has been
“My first year attending WAAPA was incredibly rewarding and challenging.
The academy allowed me to broaden my horizons in terms of the approaches to acting that I could use, allowing me to venture down pathways that I had never taken before, whilst becoming more and more capable of producing art of an industry standard.
Seeing the innovations of the HotHouse Company and how it is growing makes me extremely excited, as it will provide the All Saints’ College students and the wider community opportunities to work alongside artists, creating new pathways into the artistic industry and community while still studying at college, something that I have certainly benefited from.
The Hot House Company is something that I am glad to be able to support now that I have left so that even more students are able to follow their dreams and ambitions in making a career in the Arts.”
