The HotHouse Company recently touched base with All Saints’ College alumnus, Nic Ramsay (Class of 2015), to hear about what he has been doing since graduating and how he continues to be involved in the Arts.
“After moving to the UK in March last year, I spent a month attending auditions and interviews across the country. Soon after, on a packed commute from Southeast London, I was thrilled to find out I had been offered a place in the BA Theatre Practice (Performance Arts) course, at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Since October I have been lucky enough to attend Central and work alongside a group of creative classmates (including a person also from Perth) and staff, who endeavour to maintain our training at a professional and industry level.
During my time here, I look forward to developing my skills in writing and directing, and expanding my knowledge and repertoire. It is quite an honour to walk the halls and share the space that was once roamed by some of the true greats of British theatre. And of course, London town has plenty to offer, with some of the world’s best galleries, as well as West End shows right on my doorstep.
I am incredibly blessed to be enjoying this experience and would like to thank All Saints’ College for all the support. I look forward to working with The HotHouse Company and I am thrilled to see the Arts thriving at such a high standard in our community. I will be keeping an eye out for what’s to come in 2017,” Nic said.
