APPLY FOR FUNDING

Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give.
Thanks to the generosity of Mrs JM Wright, and the subsequent creation of the JM Wright Arts Grants, All Saints’ College is proud to have been able to allocate funds to support talented students in their pursuit of artistic excellence.

Since the inception of the JM Wright Arts Grants, thousands have been granted to ASC students and alumni to be able to undertake further opportunities to develop their craft and bring incredible projects to life that may otherwise not have been given wings to fly.

Listen to the stories of our talented alumni who have benefited from the support of JM Wright Arts Grants:

JACK CONNELL (CLASS OF 2017)

Writer and Director

The JM Wright Arts Grants supported the production of Jack’s latest short film, Hitting the Road. A young adult, getaway driver crime narrative, Hitting the Road has not only helped Jack make a name for himself in the industry, but has kick-started a flourishing career. Jack has since been signed to a Perth-based production company and now works on various film and TV projects, including live TV campaigns.

TESSA REDMAN (CLASS OF 2017)

Performance Artist and Theatre Maker

A brave and moving ode to self-love, Tessa performed her original solo work I’m Not Going to Lie to You at two sold-out seasons at the New Zealand Fringe Festival and BATS Theatre in Wellington in 2021. The JM Wright Arts Grants supported the development of this work and allowed Tessa to overcome the many challenges faced by emerging artists, as well as refine her creative process and solidify her artistic practice.

HUGH McGUIRE (CLASS OF 2021)

Actor

Intertwining artistic disciplines, Hugh took his Year 12 Original Solo Performance based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh and brought it to life in the Perth Van Gogh Alive! Exhibition. Currently studying Music Theatre at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts and with his sights set on performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, Hugh is embracing the possibilities provided by the JM Wright Arts Grants to facilitate his artistic journey.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE JM WRIGHT ARTS GRANTS ARE OPEN YEAR-ROUND TO ALL CURRENT STUDENTS AND ALUMNI OF ALL SAINTS' COLLEGE
